Yard Waste Site – Now Available
The Village of Fairport Harbor now has a Yard Waste drop-off site available at the Village Service Garage located at: 1340 East Street. This service is free and available to all Fairport Harbor residents with proof of ID. (Beach stickers will also be accepted as proof of residency.) The Yard Waste Site will be open on Saturdays. Starting this Saturday, July 22, 2023, hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
>> Acceptable Yard Waste Material Includes: Residential yard clean-up of limbs, twigs, branches (no larger than 8” in diameter), grass clippings and leaves. Not Acceptable: tree stumps, contaminated materials, steel, wire, plastic, processed lumber, timbers, railroad ties, and pallets. Please note: the drop-off site is not available to yard service contractors.

Leaf Pick Up Schedule
Leaf pick-up is provided by the Fairport Harbor Service Department. This service is for leaves only.
This service will begin on October 15 and run through November 15. Pick-up days for the following streets are listed below:

  • Mondays: Streets north of Sixth street, and west of Plum Street.
  • Tuesdays: Streets north of Sixth Street, and east of Plum Street.
  • Wednesdays: Streets south of Sixth Street, and west of Plum Street.
  • Thursdays: Streets south of Sixth Street, and east of Plum Street.

Yard Waste
Tony Schieber’s Hauling picks up bagged yard waste on the first and third Mondays, from April 1 through December 1.
