The Village Administrator oversees the daily operations of the Village, ensuring the efficient delivery of municipal services. This office implements the vision set forth by the Mayor and Council by supervising Village departments, assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, and managing capital projects. Lukas Darling was appointed as the Administrator for the Village of Fairport Harbor in July 2024. He previously served as the Administrator for Otterbein, Indiana (pop. 1,135) and Roaming Shores, Ohio (pop. 1,575). He received his bachelor’s degree in history from Youngstown State University, and his Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University. He is passionate about active transportation, mixed-use development, and building strong systems that help uplift our residents and businesses.
